This is my 5th Sleek Treat box I've received and I just realized each box has a different theme. August box is a "Back 2 School" theme. I'm so thankful that a subscription service like this exists. It targets people, like me, who love sweets, but have dietary restrictions such has low carb, gluten free, and vegan. Thanks for thinking of us Sleek Treat! It's such a fun surprise to open up each month and I enjoy sharing them with my friends and boyfriend, too!

Oh my gosh! I regret not breaking into these sooner. With the apartment move and work I put off trying items in this box for while. These smartcakes rocked my WORLD! They contain 2 small cakes enclosed in a paper sleeve. It was so cute that I had to take a photo to show you. As soon as I opened the bake a waft of cinnamon goodness hit me. They are gluten free and are only 9g of carbs per cake! That made me SO EXCITED! Their packaging lists lots of helpful information - 38 calories, 0g starch, 0g sugar, 5g fiber, and 4g protein! I'm totally obsessed with these. They also sell a chocolate SmartCake AND I MUST TRY IT!!!

So, when I think of my favorite mints, apple flavor isn't exactly on the top of my list. I was a little hesitant to try these, but I was pleasantly surprised! I understand why the brand is called "Snowflakes" because the mints are all unique, different sized white-ish crystals. The apple flavor instantly reminded me of Runts candies. Remember those!? Thing is, these mints are sugar free (sweetened with dentist approved, Xylitol)! So it is crazy that they remind me of a pure sugar candy from my youth! They also come in 9 other flavors - so many to try!

I was SO PUMPED to receive a huge size candy bar in my Sleek Treat Box. They were so kind to send me the Dark Milk since they know I love milk chocolate! THANK YOU! However, I would have been thrilled to receive any of their flavors including: Signature Dark, Dark Milk Chocolate, and Salted Almonds. Their packaging is beautiful and features a new re-sealable packaging you can open with one finger! Each square of chocolate has a gorgeous design on it, that I'm afraid I didn't get to appreciate too long before shoving it in my mouth. #chocoholic These bars are made from the best ingredients on earth: Zero sugar, 100% organic, handmade bean-to-bar quality. THE LOWEST CALORIE CHOCOLATE IN THE WORLD! Can we give them a hand clap? My bar was delicious and I would have never thought they were sugar free! Are these sold in stores? Because I need more of them.

Everly Pomegranate Berry Drink Mix
1/8 packet per 8oz water | 1g carbs | Based in Nashville, TN
I'm obsessed with pomegranate flavored items right now, so I was excited to receive this drink mix! Sadly, I do not own a pitcher so it made it a little difficult to mix properly. Inside the box are 3 pouches. 1 pouch per 2 quarts water or 1/8 pouch per 8oz of water. It was hard to measure 2/8 of the packet for my 16oz water bottle. So, I poured in a little of mix, and stirred it and taste tested. I decided to pour a little bit more and determined that the taste must be more subtle than the True Lemon drink mix I receive in a previous Sleek Treat Box. See that review here! The drink mix does smell delightful and has a dark color until it is mixed into water. It is good and refreshing, but I want to see how strong the flavor is when it is mixed with the proper amount of water. This company is on a humanitarian mission: For every box sold, they distribute life-saving rehydration salts to treat children sick with waterborne disease.

Honestly, this was my least favorite item in the box. Once I saw the info on the packaging, I knew it would probably taste a little funky to me. It has a strong odor and definitely tastes like it is an all natural, vegan bar. Hey, if thats your jam...great. It does melt in your mouth, but has a strange chalky texture at the same time. I was glad to be introduced to this brand because I had never heard of it! I would be open to trying some other flavors, but chocolate fudge brownie was not my favorite.
